in Salida, Colorado
We
call our silver settlement the Rockin'
Wally-B Ranch, you won't find it on a map,
but it is real...it exists where ever we are.
If
you plan it they will come!
We plan to do it the way
Wally
did
– dry camping on an open field – no
hook-ups,
but gray on the ground is a-okay and there is a dumpsite available on
the grounds.
Expect a limit of 85
spaces.

Salida
is
picturesque
town at 7050 feet elevation on the Arkansas
River.
Temperature will
range from 45 to 85 degrees, and a thunderstorm could drop some
rain.
We are able to drain
gray water on the ground and will have porta-potties nearby.
"Cowboy showers" and a black water dump site are also available
for our use.
Kids and pets on leash are welcome, but there are no
specific
facilities, activities or playgrounds...
but there is plenty to do in the area!
